MiscarriageHelp.com is a safe place where you can post your feelings on our message board, with or without your name. Family members will also benefit from MiscarriageHelp.com and come to a better understanding of what a woman goes through after a miscarriage, or "spontaneous abortion" as a miscarriage is sometimes called.

We are a grief support site, a women's support site, a miscarriage support site, a family site and more -- combined into one.
A bit of background...
My name is Ellen DuBois, author of I Never Held You, a book on miscarriage, healing and recovery published by DLSIJPress.com, and host of this site. I Never Held You book will soon be available in paperback, with invaluable contributions by Dr. Linda R. Backman, Ed. D. Licensed Psychologist and Grief Counselor, (http://www.RavenHeartCenter.com), Anna Pizzoferrato Certified Reiki Master/Teacher and Shamballa Master/Teacher, (http://www.ReikiWithTrust.com).
My thanks also go to contributors Marnie Pehrson, accomplished author and owner of Shelovesgod, and my best friend, Mary, for sharing their personal stories of life during and after miscarriage.
That's how MiscarriageHelp.com came to be. It was literally born out of a need I had, over five years ago, to write about my feelings after miscarriage -- after having let them fester for about eleven years. I suffered from depression and anxiety as a result of my miscarriage. I felt very alone and misunderstood. Those feelings impacted my mind, body, and spirit so negatively that I had to write for fear I'd burst. That was my way of letting it out, but I still felt so alone.
Today is a new day. My dream is for those who suffer a miscarriage to have their very real grief acknowledged. I want women who feel like nobody in the world gets what they're feeling to somehow be led to this site, and after reading the words of other women say, "Finally. Somebody gets it. Somebody gets me."
The more we share, the more the isolation after miscarriage will disappear. The more we open our hearts to each other, no matter what stage we're at after miscarriage, the more we'll create the awareness needed to stop sweeping the fallout of miscarriage under the rug, and start treating it for what it is: a very real loss in which you are entitled to, have to grieve, feel, heal, and move forward.
Please allow MiscarriageHelp.com to become a safe place for you. When you're ready, I'll be here -- we all will be -- to listen, understand, and most importantly, plant a seed in your heart that grows into a true understanding that you are not alone in your struggle to get through this. You never will be -- not here -- and hopefully not anywhere.
